Welcome to WIC
WIC is a program that provides supplemental foods and nutrition to low income families, women who are pregnant, breastfeeding or recently had a baby, infants and children up to 5 years old. This program is funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).
The WIC program provides checks for nutritious foods, at no cost to you. Our nutrition counselors and Registered Dietitians offer nutrition education, and our Certified Lactation Educators provide breastfeeding support. We also offer referrals to help you find other services in your community.
To qualify for the WIC Program, you must meet WIC income guidelines, live in California and have a nutritional need. The program is available regardless of race, color, sex or national origin. U.S. citizenship is not required to participate in WIC.
